Ok, so we went shopping last weekend....

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

...followed by a couple of reverse cantilever chairs....Fairly certain their Scandinavian, possibly either Norwegian or Danish...

The leather is to be partially restored before we get them...I have to say that this one and it's smaller brother are two of the most comfortable chairs my bottom has ever sat in...

You got some beautiful pieces. In the 80s, I bought one of the Ekornes stressless chairs and love it still. At the time, I used to have bad headaches, but the head and neck support of that chair, similar to the one you bought, made them go away.

We used to have stores here by the name of SCAN and that is where I fell in love with Hundevad wall systems in teakwood. Back then, the dollar was strong and the stuff did not cost an arm and a leg, plus they used to have warehouse sales. I had a townhouse with a blank wall in the living room where I lined up the wall system and it looked great.

I hope you enjoy your new treasures. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I would have thought

That the buffet was later than the "C1960" cocktail cabinet, which looks like late 1940s or early 1950s to me, I would place the buffet at more at mid 1960s. Whatever! they still look great, is that your reflection in the cocktail cabinet? The easy chairs really do scream 1970s at me although nothing wrong with that either. But I LOVE the two blue "carver" chairs - I could not have left them behind if I were there.
