Have a memory attached to this
My great grandmother had a machine that looked like that. Not sure of the brand though. I remember she plucked a thread from the machine and tied it around my loose tooth. My mother then tied the other end around the doorknob and quickly closed the door. Before I could respond my loose tooth was out! Had forgot about that method of pulling out a loose tooth. Seeing the photo of this sewing machine brought it all back.
