Has anyone used the old Duz Detergent and/or have any vintage Duz? I have the Duz TV ad from the AW Web site, along with two other Duz TV commercials featuring the star sapphire drinking glasses.--Laundry Shark

I have a box of Duz, but I have never used I it. I use vintage detergents quite often when I have more than one box of something, I love all the suds they make and they smell so wonderful and light! 1960's Downy is by far my favorite for softener, it has a light, gentle smell, not the huge overpowering scents that they use today.

Robert~

you need to put that box of Cold Power on the top shelf!. (hehe)
Has anyone ever noticed how immaculate Robert's house is? I love that!!.

Duz!

Not a new picture, I've since put up shelves for the detergent I've accumulated as my stash was getting too big for the window!

This one shows my unopened box that's been here since the December '05 Texas wash-in. I'm not exactly sure who it came from, either...Bryan, Glenn, anyone?

Whoever it was that gave it to me, thanks again!!!

smells

I hate ALL of the new smells of detergent, bleach and fabric softeners. WHEN will it ever end!

EEEEEEEEEK!!! Is that a DRIP COFFEEMAKER I see?!?!?

Please tell me that's just a stage prop for the picture and not actually in use...;-)

Robert gets a SPANKING

OMG Robert! The very idea. Even *I* who has all modern appliances in my kitchen use either a French Press or a (vintage) vacuuum coffee pot, and the one drip pot I have in my house is shamefully hidden in the pantry.

You've cleaned the website, now clean your kitchen LOL.

We love you anyway :-D

Austin~

I'm noticing the lovely beehive Osterizer blender base. I want one of those to add to my collection! =)

The cool thang about this Web site is that we can "agitate" one another in a good humorous fashion. As long as we don't put poor Robert through the ringer...He might get stuck in there...and who else would be around to manage this site? *chuckles and snickers*--Laundry Shark

Ohhhh no you don't Misters. I absolutely love Sunbeam Coffeemaster coffee and I usually make that on weekend mornings when I get up about 9:00am. But my dear husband gets up every morning, 7 days a week between 5:00 and 5:30am to read the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and the New York Times cover to cover (he's the smart one). So he makes coffee in a plastic modern piece-o-krap so if he breaks it (which happens quite often, don't get me started) we can go out and spend another $3.50 at Target to get a new one.

I love my vintage appliances but give me my drip coffee make

No, No, No Ron......

For me, it is the Vintage percolators. Nothing like 'perked' CAW-FEE....Good and HOT!
Seems that the drip coffeemakers just don't make McDonald's scalding hot coffee!
