No. Over time they seem to slide over the edge of the hump (like people) and get rubbed away by the tumbling clothes. Your label is the most intact one I have seen.

I have to say I like GE dryers. I especially like the height of the door. I had a Frigidaire from the 60s and while it had some neat features, the door opening was much lower than the GE's. I don't dry really linty loads in my GE because of lint collecting around the door opening, but for 99% of the loads, it is a great dryer. The KA is a very good dryer, too, but with the door and drum depth, not as convenient as the GE.

Thanks for the response. Not my dryer though, I think it's a 1964 model that belongs to appnut. There are some intact dryer door instruction stickers out there, I've seen them, but now I want to see what was written on them.

I've never used a better dryer than the standard GE's. I agree totally about the doors and openings on the KenpoolAids. No matter what configuration they were, from BOL to TOL they were always inconveniently low. The Frigidaire 1-18's totally plagiarized the GE door design. Those were good dryers too.
