Dont quite know what year this is but it is small and cute. .This was thrown out in the trash…Its not beneath me to pick up trash…well I'm thinking 1950s for it has a three prong plug…it seems original, but did not plug it in yet.. I wd40ed the entire thing and will let it sit for a week or so….This machine I believe would be for collectors who use ladies under ware,, haha ,,,its small and im sitting it on my balcony with the other little washers i have….

Portable 120 Volt Kenmore Dryer

Fun little find, these were sold by Sears in the 1960s, they were not made by a major appliance maker like WP or GE etc. they were sold along side some of their little table and stove top washers. I believe they were discontinued around the time WP built a compact 24" wide 120 volt dryer for Sears in the late 1960s.

older looking

That makes sence why the plug is a three prong it is 1960s but never changing style of late art deco looking…if thats what they are thinking….Its something I have never seen in antiques stores ever…Any body else have one of these….And why do I find more dryers around than washers.. I now have regrets I did not buy the lonely dryers in the past…. dryers are cool and we half to shed more light on them as collectors...

The dryer and a companion wringer washer were made by Proctor Silex and sold in a separate area away from the full size washers and dryers in Sears stores. It was an alcove with irons and things like laundry baskets I vaguely remember.
