Beautiful Machine!

Does that model have the moisture sensor? 'Cause the one I had from that area didn't, being a lower-level one.

If it does not say Versatronic Control on the control panel, it is a time-temperature auto dry control and it is older, like from the mid to late 60s. It is amazing how beautiful even lower line models' control panels were before they went to the slanted style which lacked the smartness of the previous vertical control panels when GE was trying to make a smart looking appliance.

That's my mom's dryer that was purchased in 1970. The dryer was a gas model and is still being used. Porcelain top and dryer drum. Dried a typical load in 40 minutes from clothes washed in a 1990 Maytag BOL washer.

Looks like a 1970 model; during these years GE had 3 related slanted panel styles. The TOL's had a tall panel with a capitol and a canopy with a fluorescent light, the MOL's had a medium height panel with a capitol but no light and the BOL's had a short panel like the dryer above, the base panel without the additions. For some reason, you could if you dug deep, find models of any of these styles with almost any of the features including some bells and whistles--and I'll never understand GE's reasoning behind that.
