Wow - I'm surprised Whirlpool didn't own Franklin after this (bad) copy of the dryer design.  Squinting at a distance you could be fooled into believing it was a Whirlpool, or a small Norge.

 

It is super cool though and the whole machine is in remarkable shape.

 

Does anyone recognize the small box on the left side of the panel?

Could it be for a fabric scent bottle like the WP/KM mid-60s models had in the lint screen area?

 

Listing is gone - did anyone here nab the dryer at least??

Do you remember what was the brand of the dryer we saw at in Sherbrooke that looked very similar to that. It had the same kind of control panel and a lint filter door at the top?
