Unfortunately not...

I saw these newspaper articles which talk about the 40 year old microwave and the 45 year old tumble dryer, one look at the Panasonic microwave and it blatently seems 80's madeinstead of 60's. As for the tumble dryer, it's a Philips D153, and is also an 80's model, got to be with that black/white colouring, I know that 60's dryers are more Parnall Auto-drys and English Electric Liberators, it's a bit strange that the ages of the appliances is out of range although I love the fact that the owners have relied on vintage machines for daily tasks, even though they are 80's appliances, they've lasted very well, especially in the day and age where everything gets chucked out in less than five years.

I saw the EE washer article, now there's a vintage appliance! Going on 50 years, but still in regular use (article is three years old), plus the most travelled machine too, going to Australia and back to the UK again. It's so great how they've clung onto the machine even when emigrating, and even with a newish kitchen in the background.
