Quite a few people have asked about the Vacuum Cleaners Collectors Club convention coming up in Omaha the September so I thought I'd start the ball rolling with some preliminary information so those coming can start making plans. We are planning lots of fun events here for the VCCC, including a wash-in here at my home and laundry studio on the evening of Friday, September 14. If you have even a casual in vacuum cleaners, now is the time to see some of the best, most unusual and most fun machines you have ever imagined along with some of our friends at a wash-in! There will be cleaning contests, restoration & repair clinics, awards and of course, lots of fun socializing with VCCC members and those of us here at AW.org. If you plan to attend the convention of the VCCC and the listed events, the convention package price will be slightly higher for non-VCCC members. We will also have an individual price for catered food and beverage if you plan on just attending the wash-in at my house on Friday night and not the other VCCC events listed. We'll post more details on all of this later as information becomes available and plans are finalized. This is going to be so much fun, for the first time we'll have Vacuum, Washer, Dryer and Dishwasher collectors all together - mark your calendars and start those airfare search engines!
