Who remembers this classic advert? I loved this one when I was a kid for the Servis Quartz shots. Looks like some bsuy body had been tampering with the control panel on it though, notice the Hot Warm and Cool wash settings......

Although I would never wash a wedding dress, this woman had guts LOL!

I didn't even need to see it to remember it!

I don't think in real life the proprieter would be quite to smiley about the bride's mucky antics - frankly rather careless! And as for keeping one Servis machine to launder her entire collection...she must have been washing all damn day! Then again, some of us wouldn't mind that at all...

Slightly more bizarre to see again were the ads for those '86 Fords and the one after Ariel for pipe tobacco - just seems sooo wrong now. How times change...and I'm not even 30!

Hehe, Rob! :)

I don’t really remember this ad that well, but I do remember that particular Ariel logo very well. Persil Micro on the other hand… ;)

I remember the logo mostly because my late paternal grandmother always seemed to have some Ariel in her house! :) Well, her family were always working on cars or bikes, so I guess she found Ariel was the only one that could get the dirt and grease out.

On my Mum’s side and ours, it was always Persil of course! :)

Hi all

OMG, I remember that advert well. It was also used as part of Regina Fong's drag act in London (a famous drag queen who has since passed on). Regina used to do a camp mime to it, which seemed quite funny at the time (mind you it was 1 in the morning and we were a little the worse for wear)!

OMG!!!!!

That classic Surf Advert!!!!!

Good old 2 litre liquyid bottles - how retro!

The bottle caps on these were converted easily into a dosing ball with a screw on grille. we had the green Persil version which used to get used with Ariel Liquid back in the day.
