OT but so glad I`m done!

Just wanted to share my hard work! I have a small hallway and love art deco and have wanted to do clouds some where in this house. Finally I got up the nerve and while it may look easy it was very hard for me. All it needs now is a glaze to age it. The link below is the thread I have on HGTV boards.I`m so glad I have some pain meds left from my surgery, my arme is about to fall off!

Makes my hallway renovation look pretty basic!

WOW! That is totally amazing! EXCELLENT WORK!!! That really looks cool. The green walls, and the blue, ceiling with the puffy clouds make one think of walking through a lush forest on a nice day. Is that an old home there? That is a pretty neat looking light fixture there, and the woodwork is beautiful!

Here's a picture of my hallway project I worked on today. Over the course of the past two months, I've stripped off TWO layers of old wallpaper, patched up numerous cracks and dimples in the drywall, and just this weekend, primered and painted it all with a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore satin finish. Pardon the loose piece of romex in the middle...haven't installed the new light fixture yet, and I also need to put the air intake cover back on. Of course, your my hallway has nothing on yours what a neat piece of artwork!

BTW, how does one do clouds?

Love that color Stephen. Judging by the doors I would say you have an older home too. There lots of work but anything you do usually looks better. I collect the old light fixtuers and redo them. Every room has an old light and several more in my attic! Heres a sconce in the hall.

That turned out great! Lots of work there. How long did it take you? How's your neck?

Took about 2 weeks but my neck hurt so bad I could only work on it about 2hr at a time. I was fasinated(Spell Check) with the Cloud Club in the Chrysler building ever since I saw it and have wanted to try this.
