I have a couple tub shots of similar machines, but here is the exact machine.
This agitator is VERY unassuming and doesn't look like it would do much with the shallow vanes, but WOW is that not the case. I am using a 2-speed 60-series machine with the same basket and agitator and I actually choose to either run shorter wash times with it, or use something else if I think my laundry is going to be rough-housed too much. I have even used the Delicate cycle for medium-fill loads.

Do you have a tub shot of the '81? or equivilant machine

Mister LOL Kevin thinks he's being funny, but he wants me to come out there and fix his half-dozen Kenmores. If you've seen one Kevin, haven't you seen them all? In that case, I should fix only ONE of them? NO?

Hey Gordon,
I was just looking at this thread again, and as always, am amazed at your collection of Kenmores and your knowledge. We've chatted before about my 700 that I grew up with like the one in the first pic. I thought it was weird that you mentioned the one in the pic doesn't have a console light, and the one that Kevin got did. I've also seen some 700's with a florescent light. Ours had 2 small incandescents, one above the dial and one above 'alphabet" What was Sear's thinking on this.
p.s. I know I owe you an email, and I promise I'm going to get to it one day soon!
