Yeah, it looks to me like that washer has been sitting outdoors for a long time.
The seller, in a P.T. Barnum-inspired attempt, would have you believe he just disconnected them, while they're sitting among other machines that haven't been powered up for who knows how long.

he actually joined our club to advertise these before.....
his prices are coming down, but not far enough for what they really are....
but yeah, for sitting outside for almost a year or more.....condition is deteriorating.....

Yes, washer sold today, dryer is still available. The Maytag wringer washers I have get restored and used again.
