Nothing at all to do with Hotpoint except the markings. This is a GE double oven and that is a very good thing (BTW, Taylor Avenue Hotpoint cooking appliances were wonderful, but I don't know if they were as reliable as GE's).
1969 JK-29 (shown here in it's original home), imho it is overall the best electric double oven for function, practicality, and durability ever made, and one would imagine the Hotpoint version would be it's equal. And P-7 self cleaning on both ovens is truly the icing on the cake!
Phil, the Avocado oven is a Hotpoint branded unit, but made in the GE factory. The differences are in the trim. These were sold by the Hotpoint dealers.
Like this with the matching cooktop if anyone needs one all you have to do is come get it I rescued it from a remodel in one of the houses where I work
