double self=cleaning ovens!!!
Well, uh...
Nothing at all to do with Hotpoint except the markings. This is a GE double oven and that is a very good thing (BTW, Taylor Avenue Hotpoint cooking appliances were wonderful, but I don't know if they were as reliable as GE's).

How does a seller
Decide that something that is obviously GE becomes Hotpoint? Maybe they didn't have a photo of it, grabbed a close second and didn't know it's a GE?
...never ceases to amaze me..obvious things.

we have the GE version...
1969 JK-29 (shown here in it's original home), imho it is overall the best electric double oven for function, practicality, and durability ever made, and one would imagine the Hotpoint version would be it's equal. And P-7 self cleaning on both ovens is truly the icing on the cake!

Phil, the Avocado oven is a Hotpoint branded unit, but made in the GE factory. The differences are in the trim. These were sold by the Hotpoint dealers.
