I need hel...and only you would know........

Fisher&Paykel Dishdrawer......lower drawer leaks

I believe it is from the little servo is not lowering the lid on the left hand side.....the drip comes out the front corner of the machine....

I was told that the bottom drawer can come out by itself, and I can locate the little servos and check to make sure it is faulty and replace it

problem I am having is I am not able according to what I was told of how to get the bottom drawer out to service this....I don't see or feel any clips to push in to release it from the drawer tracks....or would it be better to remove the whole machine from under the counter?

Pull the drawer open and look at the lower front corners. A tab on each side, depress it and push the support rail back (helps to lift up a little on the drawer to take the weight off), then the drawer lifts up off the rails. When reseating the drawer, make sure the tabs are pulled fully forward and latched.

Note the circular gizmo above the latch is a pin for the front panel. It pulls straight out with pliers, does NOT turn.

Could not have done it without you.....your a freakin genious....

got it out in seconds...pulled the tech sheet and started testing....still could not figute it out....but after a series of tries...AND ONLY YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THIS.......theres a plastic rod that follows the water supply/drain tubing to prevent it from kinking, has snapped in half, and was getting under the lid, stopping it from completely sealing, every time you closed the drawer it would get in the way over top.....I used some electrical tape and cable ties to somewhat keep it in place and overlap the broken section with a few more cable ties....NO MORE LEAKS

There's a redesign on the hose support (Link Support Kit # 528437), helps eliminate that problem from happening ... but your fix will hold just as well I imagine.
