Painting a Radarange

I ended up coming across an Amana Radarange in all of it's chrome/ stainless glory. Would it be awful if I painted out the cabinet in black instead of its current brown?

IMHO, YES!!  Vintage should be left as original as much as possible.

It's your's, in your kitchen  -do what you want with it.  If you are hoping to resell it as a classic in the future, no, but for your own use why not?

it all depends on the color

If you request pink as a color you will get lots of positive comments …..haha have fun with your find….

Paint Color

Starting with the 'hundred series' as I call them (RR-900, 1010, etc) the cabinets were a nice charcoal/black with embossment that looked pretty sharp. In fact the panels might actually transfer over to your machine if you can find one.

Might I ask what model number your RR is? -C
