There was a estate sale last weekend down the block...access to the basement was restricted.. Tonight, being trash night, I noticed a large pile of stuff out front, including a Philco-Bendix top load washer. It is is rough shape, with the agitator assy in pieces in the bottom of the tub. The qustion is.... does anyone want it? If it is still there in the morning, I could pick it up, but not for myself... so tell me!

Ok.... I picked it up... the bottom panel is missing, but its a solid tub 2 Speed Automagic, model W204. The control panel is grey & red. and it looks like it sat in the basement for a long time. Im putting it in my garage if anyone wants it, or I'll part it out, I guess.....

Hi Steve, I'm pretty sure that is a 1959 BOL model. Wow, how is the rubber agitator disk as well as the general condition of the machine?

Not too bad for its age.... a little rust around the screws, and theres the missing panel.... but the agitator had been disassembled, and the drive belt is off. I hope it doesnt leak oil, since its in the back of my Forrester out in the parking lot... The flapper is a little "crunchy" but in good shape.

Correction

I first thought it was a '59 model, its actually a 1960 model. No need to worry about oil, Philco Automagic machines did not use oil, just a bit of grease.
