Hi Philiph,

the W65 inox spins @ 500 rpm with a pulse pattern (except on wool cycle).

It has a 58 cubic decimetres drum (wisely rated 6 kg and not 8 kg as recent machines do ...)

Hot and cold fill ,ten programs based on 3 indipendent cycles, four preselected temps (32°-45°-60°-95°C), a mielish one-knob programming system (the timer can't be operated, it acts only as a status display)

Pushbuttons : start - stop - bio wash pattern

Delicate, minimum iron and wool programs have automatic rinse hold, by pushing start they can be ended with the proper gentle spin

The W 65 INOX, meaning inox=inossidabile=stainless (steel tub), has the typical square door
The W 65 is almost identical, except for the round door and the enamel outer tub

In the 70/80s I have seen lots of these machines as heavy duty ones in B&B, mountain shelters, small restaurants ...

Nice Machine

Wow, great looking machines. My Aunty had a Bendix that was the same design. I wonder if anyone on here had any photos of Bendix. On her manchine it had lights, Wash, Rinse, Spin.
The door was metal and round, and very quiet in operation.

Philco Bendix

Hi Diomede, great to see one of these fab machines in action, the true Philco Bendix company!!, we had this style as well also as a washer dryer....

The first Philco machines where called "Philco Cyclotron" very futuristic name for the 60`s!!! that had the programme timer advance as well!!

Paul, have you seen Rickys machine, the early one or was your Aunts a later model with the dispenser on the LHS??
