No shortage of hipsters in the Portland area, but this fridge isn't any more likely to attract a buyer at that price than the retro/Mad Men/Eames GE in South Pasadena.

Props for completeness

Though I wouldn't pay near that much for this, the fact that it's really minty and even the minutiae like the ice-cube trays and defroster scraper are present are considerably more compelling for me. I've seen fridges go for this much that looked like they sat at the bottom of a lake, or were missing nearly all the interior fittings.

Nate, absolutely no argument here about the Philco's completeness and overall condition, but for me the terms "$2,500" and "Defroster Scraper" are mutually exclusive.  :-D

All I can remember is that back in the early 60's those things were an albatross on the used appliance floor. Nobody wanted them. Obviously times have changed slightly. Then there were the stories some of the service guys told about the hinges not latching correctly and that very heavy door falling on some lady's foot.
