I HAVE THE GAS VERSION OF THIS DRYER. YOU SELECT THE AMOUNT OF DRYNESS LEVEL BY SELECTING 1-8 ON THE DIAL. IT IS VERY ACTURATE AND FAST.

Yes these are great dryers and I agree with the excellent moisture sensing.
1966 through 70 Kenmore electronically controlled dryers
This was one of those rare examples of a machine that was nearly perfect in terms of performance, reliability, ease of use, etc..
We still see customers with the 1966 lady Kenmore dryers and were able to keep them working easily and weekly use, there’s really no other dryer that lasted so well or was so easy to repair And worked so well.
My 1974 lady Kenmore gas dryer has the same accurate moisture sensing with a completely electronic control system that protects against malfunction. It will shut down the dryer. If it doesn’t sense dryness in 110 minutes and it has a proportional cool down cycle that works beautifully based on how long it took to dry the clothing.
Pure simplicity and operation. Throw the clothes in push start you almost never have to make any adjustment to the dryness level and everything always comes out perfectly dry without being over dried.
