So are they really worth the price? They are lovely machines and Yucca Valley is only a nine-hour drive from here...

Wonder what happened to the expensive Harvest Gold Maytag set in Paradise, CA? Don’t see them anymore on CL or this site.

Shaking my head at the asking price. "Hey, wanna buy a pretty pink washer and dryer from the 1950's? Don't know if they work and there is a fair amount of cosmetic damage....how about $3,000?"

Well, if the seller can find someone willing to pay that much who can blame them for trying?
Considering the level of complexity and lack of available parts I wouldn't offer more than $300.00 for what could end-up as static museum pieces.

Isn't it amazing how people find something like this and assume they are showroom pieces in perfect condition?
