The first house Dave and I rented together was in a mid '50s neighborhood that had all gas kitchens, including big Servel refrigerators.  Our place only had the original Western Holly gas cook top, but lots of homes still had their original WH wall ovens.   The fridges were either gone or being used as cabinet space.

Even though WH ovens and free standing ranges from this period have a unique look, I've never been able to warm up to it.

$350 is a steal for a NOS WH wall oven.  As John can attest, these ovens hold up far longer than anything new would.

Do we know where this unit is located?  I think Wedgewood/WH were most common in the western U.S.

Western Holly Ovens Had The Bwst Oven Window Ever

Yes they are unusual looking, but it is one piece of glass with a vacuum inside so it is not only efficient because little heat escapes, but it is also impossible to get any dirt or stains on the inside of the glass.

Interesting how "assembled" these ovens are...the manufacturer of the clock/timer has their instruction book, Robertshaw has the thermostat instruction book, the pilot light/ignition company has theirs...I guess that's why there has (still) been smaller range producers (as compared to other appliances)...Peerless/Premier, Brown, etc.
