I'm just venting. I went to open the door on the Frigidaire dryer today, and the plastic handle broke at the bottom where it attaches to the door. The washer did the same a couple months ago. I was able to hot glue it like I did with the washer.

Cheap plastic crap is so annoying.

I feel better now. LOL.

I hear you! My hands are dry and smooth and have lost the "rubberyness" required to do things like turn pages and hang on to smooth, slick objects (like a water glass, for instance). At any rate, I drop things more than I used to.

Recently, I dropped the in-post fabric softener dispenser for my Frigidaire top-loader and had to replace it.

Two questions, Jim: I've heard several times that hot glue guns are like duct tape; 1001 uses. I'm thinking of getting one. Do you use yours often? I've always thought they were only good for scrapbooking and similar projects.

2nd: Were you the one who posted about opening up your dryer and cleaning out all the accumulated lint? I'm thinking my 5-year old Frigidaire dryer is due for a cleaning, but I'm a little leery of opening it up. I shone a flashlight down the recess where the lint filter goes, and it looked like it was stuffed with lint. If you are the party in question, how did you go about cleaning it out? And what should I be careful not to touch?

It was me who cleaned the dryer. This was the first time I actually took it apart. I took off the top, and disconnected the wiring for the control panel then removed the whole front panel. At this point the plastic piece that the lint filter goes into came off and I thoroughly vacuumed it out. Then I just carefully vacuumed around bottom of the dryer. Of course I made sure it was unplugged first. I used both the crevice tool and dusting brush. I went slow around the electronic ignition area.

We have two hot glue guns which were mainly used when my roommate and I were making drag costumes.

Flannel shirt, overalls work boots and facial hair.

I had a couple flannel shirts, and a pair of work boots that I used to wear during the winter time. The boots were really warm when I was standing outside waiting for the bus. Right now it's been four or five days since I last shaved (I hate shaving).

Hot Glue Gun

There is a woman who lives in a resort town in Washington. She happened to be my landlord. Urban legends were in abound of her being a "call girl" for the CIA, getting men drunk and extracting their secrets. She was odd and quirky and I tried to stay out of her way as she had a reputation for ripping off your nuts and handing them to you in a paper bag. She had a boyfriend who got caught with another woman. Saying nothing, they went to bed together. When he awoke, she was gone and his hair was super glued to the head board.
