Hello .
Please can you help ?
I have an old upholstered nursing chair in the loft ( attic)
I had noticed that my old cat had been up in the attic and used the chair for her own comfort.
She is old and incontinent and wet the upholstered seat with urine.
It has now dried and there is a mark on the velvet seat.
Is there anyone who could suggest a way of cleaning the mark off.
I know urine can mark fabrics .But is it permenant ?

diluted hydrogen peroxide will kill the smell, but the stain, I don't know.

pet stores...

here in the states sell neutralizers for pet urine, but velvet isn't made to get wet. maybe time for a re-do?

The stain is much reduced. Not completely gone but its a great improvement.
