My cousin Tina was going through some old photos and came across this one from Christmas 1970 at her parents house.  All of the kids at the table are her nieces & nephews.  The adults are her brother, sister-in-law (wife of a different brother), and another sister.  Tina is the 2nd youngest of 11 children.

Anyway, she knows that I like old appliances and asked me to help her id the wall oven (GE?) in the background.  The matching cooktop is to the right.  The kitchen was remodeled in the summer of 1971 so these are long gone.

There wee may early 1950s wall ovens that looked like this.  The oven door reminded of Hotpoint dishwasher doors too.  (See today's POD).  Our former LK Combo neighbors moved to San Antonio in 1967 or 1968 and rented a house that still had the early 1950s Hotpoint built-ins and sitting there looking at the dishwasher and the oven, that's when it first hit me.

Thermador would make sense since my cousin's dad was an HVAC contractor.  Knowing how frugal he was, he probably got them dirt cheap from one of his contacts in the industry.
