Ok, did anyone notice what the woman is doing in the first picture of the POD for today. I just about died laughing when I saw it and wondered, when this ad originally ran, how many people tried this.

In the picture, the woman has the drain hose of her washer in her hand attempting to fill a glass with a sample of the water from the second rinse. She must have had a pretty tight grip on that glass to keep it from being blown out of her hand when the water started gushing out. Either that, or her washer pump was definitely in need of replacement. Thanks for the laugh!

also not to mention the water being splashed out of that cup even if she could hold it-the water would splash right out of her glass as it came in.she fills her glass with the washer hose as if from a garden hose.Another question-wouldn't there be a little lint and sediment in the glass?I don't think I would want to drink that water unless it was life or death.

I noticed that too...none of my machines can do this!!

Most likely, the water would just gush out of the glass and onto the floor...now your dog or cat, too, can enjoy the "drinkable rinse water"! ;-)

I believe that if I really, really wanted to taste a sample of l'eau second rinse, I would just stop the machine and put my glass into the tub.

However, at this time, I really have not acquired the taste for "aged rinse water". HA HA!

I remember there being TV commercials just like that ad. Of course they didn't show the hose filling the glass, but jumped forward to show the water in the glass. Never thought of that being a problem, back then! (hee-hee!)
