POD 1/12/06 Viking

I was wondering who made these machines. The Dial says Kenmore to me. The mini basket says G.E. Also, was G.E. the only machine that had the mini basket? or did other makes have them also? <p> On a side note, which is the appropriate forum to discuss the POD?

This forum would be the right one, it's about a classic washer. IMHO the dial shouts GE also.

Canadian version of GE..Viking

Looks like a GE to me too.

Let us not forget that Sears used GE for Laundry for about 5 minutes WAY in the past.

Today, as we know, Sears laundry is mostly Whirlpool with some Frigidaire/Electrolux.

No one else had the patent to a Mini-Basket and other Viking ads list the lint filter feature spelled - Filter Flow. So there you go!
