I do remember these machines. At the time they were unusual. Most of their washers had the standard size tub and this was just one model that had about middle of the road features and the large tub. I recall it had a different agitator too. The agitator it used was slightly taller and bigger than the standard one. Later on, when they went to the large tub they made the agitator the same size as the regular tub models. Some of them had the extra fins that stuck out at the sides too. I know Kenmore had this same model back in the late 60's too. It too had a larger agitator.

Those boys would be washing their own underwear if they were my kids. I'd tell them to make sure they washed their tube socks as well!
