Did anyone ever see any of the FD machines in today's POD in a laundromat? Did they have the 1970s jetcone in them?

Greg, the first apartment I moved into my 2nd year of college (academic year 1974-1975), the laundry room of the small apartment complex I lived in had them. I just remember a grey open pulsator that reminded me of the full-size 1/18s. They replaced the initial turquoise Fflos. I rented the apartment in late spring and returned for fall semester. My apartment was near the laundry room and got to lay in bed and hear them thumping away at night. The 4 machines were up and down that fall semester. When I returned from Christmas break, they had all been replaced with Speed Queens.

4 at a time?

Appnut- I'm sure that made for some "bumpy" nights...one 1-18 is loud enough; 4 at the same time would be pretty riotous! Greg
