Huge capacity washer, fairly small capacity dryer. Both had many operational, durable and dependabilty issues. The washers had a tendency to walk across the floor with an unbalanced load. Many of the dryers had a tendency for the heat temp. switch on the motor to kick it off early in the load, thus taking long periods of time to dry. Since they were part of the White consolidated companies, that explains a lot. In the 80's they downsized the tub of the washer some and made those awful dryers like the Frigidiare ones of that era, but eventually they started making the dryers like the Westinghouse ones of the day. Sad times for this style of washer and dryer.
