POD 4/15 Rebadged Easy to Westinghouse?

Is todays POD the early Westinghouse made by Easy? What year was this? How did they handle the dryer to stay within the Westy brand or did Easy make the dryer too? Were the Westinghouse dryers at this time all slant fronts? Thanks alr

Webmaster Robert commented on the Easy/Westinghouse connection in an old thread, but don't have the time to find it. Here's what I remember:

1) This was the first Westinghouse top-loader on offer. It was, indeed, made by Easy, and I believe the year was 1963.

2) The Easy-made washer appeared for only one year, after which Westinghouse used their own design.

3) Don't know if there was a matching dryer for the Easy-made model. Have never seen one. I would think one existed, as Westinghouse was very style-conscious, and I can't imagine they'd try to pair their spiffy new top-loader with a slant-front dryer. And if one existed, I don't know if was also contracted through Easy.
