Can anyone please explain the timer dial design, construction & operation? Thank you.

Didn't Robert show us that funky timer in a video about one of his machines? It would have been many years ago and I'm thinking the washer was a few years older than the '57 in the ad.

Hi Tom, there is an outer ring on the timer dial with a red line, you can select 3, 6, 9, 12 or 15 minutes of wash by pushing the outer ring in and turning it either direction to the wash time desired, then you line up the red line to the main dial indicator and pull up on the dial to start the machine.
Thank you. The wash time shows up in the little window? Did this have something to do with the timed fill and being able to select the wash time if you wanted less than the full wash time with a full fill, like Frigidaire offered and like Speed Queen offered with those little toggle switches on that TOL model?
