A big thank you to Ben who sent me these gorgeous Bendix brochures that range in age from 1946 thru 1950. Super rare brochures I've never seen any like this before.

Here are the new entries into the Ephemera Library:

Post-War Bendix Automatic Washer Brochures
Post-War Bendix Dryer and Mangle Ironer Brochures
1961 Kelvinator Automatic Washer Comprehensive Service and Parts Manual

Thanks for posting these, Robert. The 1948 Gyromatic cut sheet has a reflective material they used for the "Bendix Washer" text on the sheet and looks really cool in person.

It can also be observed the spelling change of "Gyromatic" on the '48 Model G/G-310 cut sheet to "Gyramatic" on the '49 cut sheet for the G-311/G-316. Not sure if Bendix got their hand slapped by Chrysler for using the phrase (Chrysler was using that name for a transmission on their car line in the late 40's/early 50's) or if there was another motive. Bendix, Avco, and even Philco continued to spell it with an A through the end of the tumble action washer line in 1958.

Ben
