We used to see a LOT of those Frigidaire refrigerators. They were used in a public housing unit nearby. The maintenance guys would drop off one or 2 at a time, most had a hole punched in the freezer.
The Gibson freezer has an irritating characteristic found on most cheap models, and the Frigidaire isn't much better.
Their doors come down so low that there's very little clearance from the floor. Without fail, when I have to deal with a fridge like that, I end up opening the door as far as my shoe, and then have to step out of the way to get the door to swing open any further. That reeks of cheap, careless design.

The very first Frigidaire refrigerator I got was a D-116N, I gave it to my uncle who used it for years as a second fridge but my uncle didn't use it much anymore and gave it back to me a few months ago. I had to repaint the door last month to rent it for a movie set. They couldn't fit a 32" fridge in one of the kitchen sets and it was my only 30" model... It turned out to be a good thing because the door was bent behind the handle and it didn't seal perfectly. I don't like manual defrost refrigerators but since I did that, I left it plugged for a while and almost no ice formed in the freezer. It's also very silent, you can barely hear it running.
Kenny, if you ever come across one of these that's being scrapped and that has a decent-looking toe kick plate, I'd be interested in getting one for it as mine is slightly bent and it's been riveted together.
