Am doing some cleaning and really need to move surplus to requirement items on.
First up we have several cans of "Karagami" powdered ironer wax.
Bought this as a job lot, but am still on the one opened can several years later, so don't think will need the rest.
I use this wax to make "wax pads" similar to what was once sold in stores for housewives, or they were homemade.
Wax pads are used to give a slight coating to an iron's soleplate so it glides (by reducing friction), eaiser.
Also wax the heated plates of my ironers every now and then for the same (and intended purpose)reason. Items flow through the ironer faster and have a nice gloss.
Best thing about this wax is it is non-staining, so if one happens to get some on textiles, it will come out in the wash.
