The first pumpkin is what my daughter Laura wanted & helped me carve... I was unenthusiastic about the idea, at first, due to the idea of using sharp objects (we bought a carving kit) and I wouldn't like the mess (we had a broken-down cardboard box underneath) and then I didn't know how skillful we would be (we picked a "three pumpkin-rating" in the level-of-difficulty, for the design), but it turned out right... "Never underestimate our talents!", I was quoted with saying... --This was the day-before-yesterday...
The second, I managed to do yesterday evening, while I had some time alone, as I was so sold (maybe OVER-sold) on the good job we (mostly "I") did the day before yesterday, that I thought of my own idea, just for her to come bursting in the door (Mommy dropped her off, then went out to do more errands she had been doing during the day, after she'd picked up Laura from school) so I had to make what I was doing as the amateur I was "be boring" and for our daughter to not be interested in helping me, or offering to, in the midst that she'd admittedly be distracting me, as this was my fist time to have broken into this design, that I think I also did, darn good at!
