There's been lot of discussion of the Food-A-Rama refrigerator, especially the side by side versions. On the inside of the freezer door is a three part storage rack that's usually called the Juice Dispenser that will hold about 21 frozen juice cans.

My problem is this is far too much for any family to reasonably consume. Then it dawned on me that Campbell's Soup had a now abandoned line of frozen soups in similar packaging, so obviously this helps explain the army-sized capacity of the dispenser.

I was born in 1960, so this is before my time, so my question is, aside from Campbell's, were there any other companies that were experimenting with the "frozen juice can" packaging for foods that are now no longer being produced?

Do the Food-A-Rama juice racks hold modern sized juice canisters, or has the packaging gotten smaller?

Back in those days frozen juice cans were the small size ones you now see used for frozen daiquiri mix or frozen concentrated lime juice. My parents' GE 18.8 Spacemaker has a small frozen juice rack beside the ice service in the freezer, but it only holds the small cans that I think were 6 ounces.

There were

frozen seafood soups, chowders, and bisques that were wonderful. Snow's frozen chowder beat the heck out of their shelf stable chowder. Campbell's shrimp soup was so good.....
