Wow! I love it!! If I were to find one within easy driving range I’d be tempted to put the Powerclean in storage for a while!

Contacted the seller

Because....you know...dishwasher.

I just happen to be working in Hickory NC for the next several months which is only about 30 miles or so from Lake Lure (for those of you who don't know, that is where Dirty Dancing was filmed back in the 80's).

If I don't stop this crap I will be on an episode of Hoarders before much longer.

You go Mark!

I hope you get it Mark, that will be an awesome addition to your continually growing collection! I think I've heard they have a really short cycle time.

Do you currently have any "commercial" dishwashers now?

Where were all of you?

When I had 6 of these machines sitting in back of my garage years ago?
We had a slew of them in our Hobart warehouse and they were being trashed so some of us took a few home. I could not sell any of them and to the curb they went! Saved the best one for a spare in my Mom's basement and we used it all the time for the holiday and big gatherings.

Since a gravity drain was not feasible, I swapped out a KD-14 motor with the drain pump underneath and had it pump out. Also changed the timer to a WM-1 timer so it had the pumped drain provision built in to the timer. Used a Kitchenaid drain solenoid and it worked like a dream. It was right next to the water heater so that was turned up to 165 and the dishes flash dried without any issues.

That is a really nice machine in the pictures. Fully free standing and in great shape. Sadly, there are absolutely NO parts available from Hobart anymore. They were obsoleted in 1979 and spares requirements ended in 1994. Best to keep your eye out for another one or at least a Kitchenaid to use as a donor machine.
