I have a Speed Queen washer HA5591LA that I believe dates from the early 1980s. It had not been used in at least 20 years. I put some water in the tub and it leaks slightly from the bottom of the tub, so I assume the tub seal is bad.
I removed the agitator, but could not get the drive bell off. Is a puller needed to get it off? Is a replacement tub seal still available for this machine? Of course the individual part numbers listed are NLA, but I don't know if there is another number for a seal kit that might be found as NOS. For example, this part, but I can't tell from the photos what is included:
I am moving to new house and trying to decide if I want to take this washer with. I have some nostalgic connection to it and would like to keep it, but could use the space for something else if it can't be repaired due to unavailable parts. I am fairly mechanically inclined and could make the repairs if the parts can be found.
