"Hello" my Dear aw.org Friends, I just wanted to let you know that my Aunt Kay Passed-Away on Saturday, November 24, 2007 in the Mid-Morning. We had a wonderful Birthday Celebration back in April, for her 90th Birthday.
She was the "Last Link" to our Families, as far as immediate Realatives of both of my Brother and my Parent's sides of the Families.
My Mother's side of the Family was 3-Sisters and my Mother was the youngest of their Family. My Father's side was 1-Brother and 2-Sisters and my Father was next to the youngest and my Aunt Kay was the youngest of their Family.
My Mother and Father made it to their 80th Birthdays, my Uncle {Dad's Brother} was 84-years old, my other Aunt {Dad's Sister} was 87-years old. My Mother's Older Sister was 87-years old and her Middle Sister was only 51-years old. She killed herself from Alcoholism and I was 13-years old, when she Passed-Away. I felt that I old enough to realize what Alcohol could do to you and your Body. Even though I do have to admit that when I was in my late 20's and early 30's I had at one time drank too much and a couple/few other times, I had a little too much to drink, but I never lost my memory during that time and I always knew what was happening around me and where I was at. I also am so glad that I wasn't a terrible nasty "Wanting to Pick a Fight" kind of Drinker, I've always been the type to feel and act Silly and having a Good Time. "BTW" I hardly ever touch any kind of Alcohol Beverages now, especially since they came out with the "Virgin" Drinks, I quite honestly don't even miss the Alcohol not being in them.
Anyway, thank you so very much for allowing me to write this to the Club Site, it means a great deal to me, to know that we are all here for each other, in our time of need.
Peace, Blessings, Prayers and Luv of Friendship, Steve
