I have just taken delivery of a Hotpointad empress washing machine and intend to get it running! On powering up the motor makes a humming sound but doesn't turn and if manipulated it starts to turn slowly ? There is very little resistance and I can turn the motor easily by hand and the agitator / wringer rollers turn slowly ?? Any advice appreciated also any ideas on where I can get spares also appreciated !
