Congratulations, Gary!!

Is your trip to England going to be an extended stay? Sounds like a wonderful way to start off retirement!

It must have been hard, however, to leave the classroom. Will you be tutoring later on? My Dad did that after his retirement of a lot of years in the classroom. He said that it kept his finger still on his joy ... teaching.

HI everyone! I took the perm. records last week to the 3 area high schools that our students may attend. I was offered a job at Stark County to teach a class of humanities. I taught that in Bradford and the kids and I called it Insanities, lol go figure.
Geoff- thanks, and I washed a huge wash(warsh) in the Maytag Commander today. I can't believe how quiet it is, not bad since 1954 when it came from Newton.
Jeff- I just saw the pics of your new Maytags. Love it and I am so glad you have a new friend too. I know where the cathedral is also; my brother lives near I-55 in Joliet. It would be fun to get together too and to meet Michael.
Unimatic- Great site and we all have you to thank for it.
If you come across any more Dexter Automatics or an ABC automatic I am surely interested in buying.
Thanks to all for the kind words. Since April I have been under a lot of strain with my mom's death in April, selling her house, finishing school in May and now trying to figure out what to do with all of the furniture that I have sitting on the front porch from her house in Pontiac! Bye for now, Gary
