That's super cute! Love the [COLOR=#ff00ff; font-size: xx-large] S M E G[/COLOR] lettering on the front - and pink!

I saw those machine sin paraguay, they are really cute.
There's also the dishwasher and the one door fridge with the same design.
The washer has two options, with and without the small sink and the sink operation is completelly separate from the washer.
The washer is fully automatic like any other european front loader and it's a little bit bigger than on pictures.

Well, I'd say it's not really "run of the mill"... this baby is really SMEG made and not rebadged, plus it's one of the few machines sold now, 2011, that still has an outer tub in all stainless steel and not plastic, so you can still change bearings with relative ease and you will never encounter "tub mould and smell problems" (not that I ever got any!).
The sink drain is connected to the washing machine pump so you need to have the washer plugged in for it to drain, otherwise it won't work.
On the inside there are two shelves that can hold small packets of detergent or additives.
It's available in baby blue and pink, no cream colour for this model.
The "standard" ones are available in many more colours that the ones with the sink on top but the machine underneath it's the same.

Other than the amazing looks,
About real SMEG made washing machines I love the fact that they only use stainless steel for the tubs and not plastic! But I have the sad feeling this isn't going to be a lasting habit!
Also the kitchen appliances like ovens, hobs, etc are of an extremely high quality!
We put all SMEG appliances home and couldn't be more pleased, this on the link is like the oven we have except ours is the previous model SC112NE-2, same outside looks but with self cleaning catalytic panels and smaller volume at 51 litres.

I seriously looked at SMEG ovens
when I was redoing my kitchen 10 years ago, but you couldn't get them over here in the States then, now it maybe a different story, I like that SS washer.

Just to clarify to pondering members outside the UK that NOT ALL PLASTIC outer tubs cannot have bearing changes.
From 1983 to 2000 all UK made Hotpoint Washers from the start of the 95 series to the end of the WM50 and WM60 series machines all had plastic outer tubs which bearings can be changed to repair the machine if that was the issue.
I even believe some of the WMA series machines had changeable bearings albeit a tough job to do.
Same was for Servis whom used a plastic tub in their machines from 1885 to 1991.
Neither makes of machines suffered Mould issues either just because they had plastic tubs which is another myth that seems to get portrayed here.
In the mid to late 90s Hoover machines were repaired easily enough with bearings in their plastic tubs too.
Seems like the advent of Moulded plastic tubs with non replaceable bearings started around the time manufacturers either got bought out by Italian companies like Indesit did with Hotpoint or Hoover did with Candy and introduced their machines with UK Makes badges on.
Not sure if AEG produced some plastic tub machines in Germany and if they too had changeable bearings or not. Perhaps one of the AEG fans could clarify?
