Just curious if anyone here uses Chrome and if they are experiencing issues.  I mostly use Firefox, but there are a few websites I use Chrome for as they lag terribly in FF but load quickly in Chrome.

I wanted to create a post in  one of the forums and copied and posted some text using the advanced editing bar but nothing would work correctly.  I like using the quote option for stuff I snip from other sites to identify it as such and after I pasted it  I could not get out of the quote mode.  I eventually gave up.

Anyone else have issues?

<span style="font-size: medium;">I use it Matt and I've never had a problem. I'm sure that Robert will be able to pinpoint it in no time though. He's very good at that.</span>

Hey Matt, if you are literally copying text from other websites and pasting it into the text box with the advanced editing bar turned on, hidden html code is embedded with the text you are copying which confuses the advanced editor.

In those situations I would do one of the two following things:

#1 Make sure the Advanced Editor is turned off before you paste it, which will strip out most of those hidden codes. The once the text is in you can turn the editor back on.

#2 Paste it into Notepad first, then cut it out of Notepad and paste it into the text box.

Hmm not sure what the issue is but I have been using the Chrome browser on this site and my phone  for several months and no problems.   I like chrome and it will take something for me to go back to IE or anything else.  I've done copy and past on this site and no problems that  I remember.

Thanks....

As per usual Robert hit it on the head, it must have been the embedded code.  It was just two paragraphs, but for some reason the spacing was going nuts, and the colors were changing.  Never had this issue like this on any site with other browsers, just plain weird.

I could make the switch to Chrome permanently except for the missing bookmark side bar, like the All in One sidebar Firefox has, I have thousands of links accumulated over 12-15 years and while I may not use 98% of them often, I know where to find what I'm after in them.  Not having a bar that pops out and goes away is a real deal breaker for me, so far Google seems to be very averse to that idea, not even an after market plug in is available, even with hundreds if not thousands of requests in various forums, weird.
