Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

From the pictures that my decrepit phone will let me open, it looks like it could possibly be my dream house of sorts.
While I love green, I'm not sure if I'd want it in every room. And, maybe it's not. Like I said, I can only see a handful of the pictures.
Like Tim said, I too would kind of like the option to buy it with all the vintage stuff.
Some may call it dated, tacky, junk, etc.
I see it as dreamy. It looks like a house that would be the set of a classic TV show or something, and you would have a hard time believing that any real people actually lived in such a beautiful home.

CIRCLE W, thank you for letting me know it’s Hotpoint—can tell now, and incredibly still running safe for food to be kept in I hope…

All that green reminds me of a green room the antique mall in Lasalle MI had, mostly on the first floor though some made it to the second floor had too…

Gonna wish or hope I can do a room in green like that or if not my kitchen then where I have my last remnants of antique lighting…

Three of these there, but found my own at a flea market elsewhere and another thrift store furnished the screened shade…

I went to the estate sale on Thursday, there were at least 100 people there, one of the most crowded estate sales I've been to. Many people commented about how much "stuff" was in the house, but it was spread out in a large home that needed to be filled with stuff. I've been to estate sales with a similar amount of stuff in a home that was 1/3 the size.

The refrigerator in the kitchen was a Hotpoint (not for sale). I was surprised to see it, typically if there is a new appliance in original kitchens like this it will be the refrigerator. All of the light switches in the house were the GE low voltage system.

I also took some photos of the cabin kitchen.

thank you max/zenithtv for all the great appliance pictures...

sure would like to have seen that side by side opened...

usually something you have to keep food cold and frozen in would be new but i guess both fridges run pretty reliably for their age...

thanks again...

The Maytag set did not have a price and I assumed not for sale, I did not ask. From the real estate listing it appears the appliances are included with the house and likely could not be sold because the house is already listed for sale. Which is a shame since 95% of people who would buy that house would trash everything original about it before painting it gray.

"Appl Stay/Incl: Dishwasher, Dryer, Refrigerator, Stove/Cooktop, Wall Oven, Washer, Water Softener"

The Tappan gas stove and the refrigerator and freezer in the basement were for sale.

I noticed after taking a photo of the small cooktop in the kitchen that somebody must have bumped on one of the burner switches enough to turn on the indicator lamp, but not the burner. I turned it off later.
