Here I took some pics of the ever popular cook'n'Stir jar taken apart as well as it in action.
Yes that's an Electrosol tab sitting the jar base to give an idea of the blade width, and a penny inside the jar gasket.

Cool Ronson....Nasty Chow!

That Ronson is awesome! Are you saying that this thing can cook and gently stir vegetables, just like the ones on the stove? What else would you "cook and stir", besides a pudding or your basic Hollandaise or white sauces?

BTW - that green funk you are preparing looks really awful. I was still wretching from the movie theater thread. You have put me over the edge! Belch! (excuse me, there go the Sloppy Joes).

Venus...the stirring mode has five speeds from quite slow to a somewhat faster slow, never fast enough that you can't see the blades moving. Once you switch over the blend though,,even the slowest blend speed is near as fast as a high on most blenders. So you can put use it to make gravies, sauces, anything that just needs constant stirring while it bubbles, if it has any fault it's somewhat noisy even at it's slowest speed.
