We should have the shopping cart up on the website soon as well, I'll post that as soon as it is done.

Yes my ingredients are: , anionic and non-ionic surfactants - NOT PLANT DERIVED ! - triple enzyme punch - sodium carbonate to alkalize the water - soap - fragrance. No bleaches , no optical brighteners, no phosphates. Don't need them with the triple enzyme punch.

I mentioned this to some other people, and what I got back was a query regarding whether the cost of the product is likely to decrease at all in time?

Is this possible with the current manufacturing arrangements, or is the price the current reflection of the costs associated with the detergent's production?

In any case, the product sounds very promising, and I hope you can gain some sales traction in the near future with it.

(Perhaps several of us Aussie members can conspire to get a proverbial boatload of Rosalie's shipped over for our enjoyment!)

Arrived in the post a few minutes ago!!

Just received my packet of Zero Suds. The moment has finally arrived that I get to try it for my self. I thought I had to wait until Wednesday for my package to arrive, but to my surprise it came two days early. Christmas in July! I've got the "maiden" wash going now. I'm amazed that there really are no suds.
I do have a couple of questions. Instructions state hot or warm wash only, can I use it in cold? While not often, I do the occasional cold wash. Are there special instructions?
As a caretaker, I often have the expected invalid stains. Are there any special instructions for these type of stains? I generally have good luck running a quick wash in cold to avoid, as a prewash, then washing on sanitise, in the frigidaire 4474. With either Persil powder or Shaklee powder and their AFB. Do I even need bleach or additives anymore?
I'm looking forward to using this new detergent.

We both have a Frigidaire 4474! I really like it. Looking forward to trying Rosalie's Zero Suds, but not wanting to deal with Pay-Pal or E-bay, will wait for it to become available at Amazon or the detergent's website.

I like it too. Good, solid performer. I enjoy reading your posts, they've been very helpful in doing some work arounds. My biggest beefs are not being able to do a prewash before sanitise and the heater not being engaged in all cycles.
I couldn't wait, so did the eBay thing. Lol
I like Rosalie's so far. Have done two loads. I'm impressed, especially with the no suds. Nice to see (or not see suds) in our very naturally soft water.

Make That The Beluga of Detergents!

I used half of the teeny-tiny, itty-bitty measure of Rosalie's with the usual amount of STPP to wash the load of bath sheets in the SQ FL. The washing, rinsing and spinning were faultless so my 80 load box is now going to be a 160 load box reserved for the bath sheets. YAY!

If you will read post 831915 above, you will see that fragrance is the last ingredient item. It is very mild and, with good rinsing, is gone by the time things come out of the dryer. Some fragrance is necessary because the chemicals that make up detergents do not have a pleasant smell. Jon made a very pure and concentrated product with the barest minimum of a pleasant fragrance.

I've been using it now for a couple of months and love it. It's harder than you'd think to get used to the small amount needed for a load, I tend to overdose detergents with my soft water and can get suds from most HE detergents without much effort. Not Rosalie's. No suds means NO suds.

The fragrance is very mild and as Tom mentioned, usually gone after the dryer. Only a tiny whiff remains to let you know the load is clean.

Those of us with softened water have been waiting for a detergent like Rosalie's. Gansky, I know both of have been on the struggle bus with suds in rinses.

I'd love to see a coupon for a box included in every HE washer! Take note manufacturers.

To answer some questions

Todd, you can use Rosalie's in cold water, I have used it, it dissolves and washes. I just find oils and greases - 90%of soil on clothes is washed away at higher temperatures. I spot treat too, make a paste of Rosalie's and apply to stain with the back of spoon. I let it sit 20-30 mins then I launder as usual. I've gotten out 2 week old blood stains on sheets that way.

 

My Internet Guru is having a little difficulty getting us on to Amazon, they have a lot of new restrictions and rules so we are trying to work through those. It is available on Etsy and Bonanza now if that is more acceptable.

 

Tom glad you like it !! But your skimping & doubling is going to put me out of business LOL !!!

 

Lawrence, my Guru is making me produce a 50 load cube so that total shipping weight will be under 2 pounds. This greatly reduces shipping costs she tells me. I am reconfiguring my filling machine this week so by next week we might have some up and ready to go,  stay tuned !

Just wondering, Jon:

Is the load-rating on this detergent based upon a "standardized" detergent loading, or is it based upon the conservative dosage of Rosalie's?

Well I find that is

a changeable thing.

 

In testing I found - this is all in my SQ FL  HE machine- 1 scoop for 9 pounds of really dirty clothes worked.

 

But for a lightly soiled load, you could get away with almost double that in my SQ front loader with just one scoop. Sometimes I jam it full like our friends across the Pond do just to see , and it works fine.

It depends on how dirty the wash is.

 I also found if you put in 9 pounds of clothes in the SQ and 2 scoops that you might get a tiny amount of suds in the wash. They were gone by rinse but they were there because too much detergent was added. Technically - at that dose level the detergent is at :10 x CMC: which is very high hence the tiny suds. You never wash above 5 CMC for home laundry. 

 

For example at the other end of the spectrum , in my restored "Fringeadiare" with the 12 pound tub, you need 2 scoops for a full wash to get the water slippery. But that tub  holds an ocean of water with  10-12 pounds clothes.

 

However in my 1956 Kenmore using one scoop with the bakelite surgilator I stole from Combo52 !!! - and BAMMO Clean clothes.
