Microsoft is (finally) killing off Internet Explorer entirely

Internet Explorer lives on in Edge IE Mode, LTSC Windows 10, and Windows Server.

like 25+ years ago. 

Worked in an all Microsoft IT dept for 27 years and none of us ever used IE.  And when the version of IE came along that had the "compatibility view button" we all cringed!

Strangely enough, I use two different Electronic Health Records programs from really large software companies that work exclusively on IE. Both companies are now scrambling to make their programs “browser agnostic” so they can be used with any browser.

It seems like the larger the company, the longer it takes to modernize.
