Seen on ebay: entire mid 50's GE kitchen

Follow the link below. The auction ended without a buyer. This is an entire pink GE kitchen with the "Electric Wall Refrigerator" which looks like an above counter cabinet but is a refrigerator freezer combo. The entire kitchen is for sale - cabinets, wall oven, etc. If anyone is interested, contact the seller. Wish it was closer to me - I love this kind of 50's innovation, but pink won't work in my house anyway.

I love....

The refrigerator as top cabinets. I just think that would be so handy and convienent. I don't know what one would do if it were to break down and be unfixable. Wonder if that is why these never caught on well. <p>Ponderous, really ponderous. Tom
