This 1934 GE Monitor Top "Type CA" was brought in this week, with the explanation that it "just stopped working" a long time ago. In the following video, I give it progressively more and more powerful electrical current to try and re-activate it. The neighbor's lights were definitely dimmed a few times during the making of this video !

Another satisfying success story, David!

In this modern day, woefully throw-away society, it's refreshing to see someone like you confidently resurrect an old workhorse with plenty of service life left in it.   It pains me to think of how many beautiful old refrigerators never had the good fortune to meet with your capable hands, but it's always nice to see you doing your part to save those you can.

You must have a long list of extremely satisfied customers.  I salute you, sir!

David its official. You are hereby crowned " The Fridge Whisperer " after all the machines you've brought back to life. Great job bringing that Monitor Top back from its grave for so long. I always enjoy watching your videos. Not only because they're very informative and detailed and you explain things in lay mans terms. But you're also very thorough, and clean and refurbish the parts as best as possible. Yours and Bob Ross videos are my two favorites I enjoy watching on You Tube.
